I want to start my College Fire Science Degree

• Identify the community college in your area that offers a Fire Science Degree.
• All Associates degrees are not the same. Meet with an advisor or the Fire Science Coordinator of your local college to create an educational plan.
• You may take IFSI courses that meet ACE and you program requirements.
• Make sure that all your course work meets the requirements of any colleges or future programs to which you wish to transfer. This will prevent you from taking additional courses.
• Consult the IFSI course schedule for classes that you may wish to take to complete your degree.

I have some College Credit and I want to finish my degree.

• Identify the community college in your area that offers a Fire Science Degree.
• Assemble any IFSI ACE course certificates you may have and make copies of them.
• Contact your local college advisor or fire science coordinator to review your previous work for credit and develop an educational plan.
• Make sure that all your course work meets the requirements of any colleges or future programs to which you wish to transfer.
• Create an educational plan to complete tour degree requirements.
• Consult the IFSI course schedule for class that you may wish to take to complete your degree.

I have my Associates Degree and I want to transfer to a University

• Review your Associates degree courses and see that they meet the University of choice.
• Contact and submit your Associates degree transcripts to the University of choice for transfer and admission.
• Complete the University of choice registration forms.
