Search and Register Online for Upcoming Classes
The Unified Command Course has been developed and
sponsored by the Illinois Terrorism Task Force
as a critical component of the Illinois Homeland
Security Training Strategy. It is based upon the
principles of Incident Command as established
in the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
and is intended to meet the requirements of Homeland
Security Presidential Directives (HSPD) 5, 7 and
8. This course will certify the student to the Federal IS-100 and IS-200 level, as required for NIMS implementation locally.
Special Notices
- All classes begin at 8:00 am and end at 4:30 pm unless specifically noted.
- You will NOT receive a confirmation letter for the Unified Command courses.
- We will send a confirmation email out to students 15 days ahead of the course start date. This email will only go to those persons who provided an accurate, valid, legible, and complete email address at the time of their registration.
- Expect to attend unless you are contacted by Bill Farnum from IFSI notifying you that the class has been cancelled or that there was insufficient room.
- We strongly encourage early registration, we will NOT allow walk-in registration.
- Registration will close for each course at 8:00 AM, 10 days PRIOR to the beginning of the course.
