The Fire Officer Training courses are designed to provide the fire officer with the knowledge and skills necessary to function in command and leadership situations. Shortened versions of many of these courses are available, but will not usually meet the requirements for certification from the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal. Course coordinators can provide information on off-campus weekend offerings for some of these courses.
