Can any EMT or Paramedic get into one of these classes?
At this time you must be working for an EMS agency to
get into one of the above classes. However, non-affiliated
persons may apply for sponsorship at an EMS agency.
Call Sharon Dotson at 217-333-4215 for information.
(Unaffiliated EMT/Paramedics cannot come on their own).

Firefighters can bump a non-fire student in rescue, hazmat,

in EMS courses. Then, classes are filled on a first
come, first served basis.
What about NFA courses?
See C/E course listing for approval and hours credited.
Are there classes just for EMS personnel?
Yes. We offer a series of awareness classes and periodic
workshops just for EMS personnel. These will be on
a first come, first served basis. For more information
call Sharon Dotson at 217-333-4215.
Can firefighters come to the EMS classes?
Yes, but they will not bump non-fire department applicants.
